US: JOB LAYOFFS DRAMATICALLY INCREASE IN FEBRUARY

There are more signs of economic uncertainty in the U.S., with new figures showing that job cuts rose sharply in February.

Layoffs were up 245 percent from January, marking the highest month of job losses since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
