The former Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has made his first
appearance at the International Criminal Court.
The 79-year-old appeared via video link from his detention center in
the Netherlands.
Duterte is accused of orchestrating the deaths of thousands of drug
dealers and users as part of his war on drugs.
His legal team say his arrest was politically motivated.
