China Vows to Resist US Suppression, Calls for Respect

INTRO: China's foreign minister on Friday vowed Beijing would "firmly counter" US pressure, after Donald Trump imposed fresh tariffs on Chinese goods restarting a trade war between the world's two largest economies.

Washington doubled tariffs on Chinese imports to 20 per cent this week over the continued flow of the deadly opioid fentanyl into the country. Laura Westbrook reports.
