UK cuts interest rates by 0.25%, with revised growth forecasts


The Bank of England has lowered UK interest rates by a quarter of a point to 4.5%.

That's down to mid-2023 levels before the full economic impact of Russia's invasion of Ukraine was being felt. Caroline Malone reports from London.
