Hamas and Israel have reached an agreement on the next exchange of hostages and Palestinian prisoners, avoiding a collapse of the Gaza ceasefire deal for now.
Israel has been holding back the scheduled release of about 600 Palestinian detainees since the weekend, accusing Hamas of holding "humiliating" handover ceremonies for Israeli hostages.
