GERMAN ELECTION ENTERS FINAL STRETCH AHEAD OF SUNDAY VOTE

Almost sixty million voters head to the polls Sunday as Germany elects a new Chancellor and Government. 

The early election in Europe's biggest economy comes following the collapse of Olaf Scholz's former three party coalition back in November - the Chancellor now in a fight to try and secure a second term.
