European powers have insisted that both they and Ukraine are part of
any future peace negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow.
This comes after Donald Trump's announcement that he held separate
phone conversations with both Russia's President Vladimir Putin and
Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The talks will dominate discussions as NATO defense ministers are
convening in Brussels for a second day of talks.
