Household bills in the UK have risen again, and are now about 50% higher than they were before the pandemic.
After a new price cap was introduced the annual bill for a typical household's gas and electricity is now £1738 ($2176).
With warnings of further price rises, campaign groups are calling for government help to roll out a programme of improved insulation, to help keep bills down.
Business commentator Justin Urquhart-Stewart believes the rise will be painful for lots of people.
