Donald Trump's hush money sentencing looks set to go ahead on Friday after a New York appeals court denied his request to delay it.
Judge Ellen Gesmer held a hearing on Tuesday, at the request of Trump's lawyers who argue he should be protected under presidential immunity.
The president-elect was found guilty on 34 felony counts in May, related to payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
Sally Patterson reports from New York.
