New York's highest court has rejected an attempt by Donald Trump and his lawyers to prevent him from being sentenced for his criminal conviction on Friday.
Judge Juan Merchan revealed last week that he plans to sentence Mr. Trump less than two weeks before he takes the oath of office and returns to the White House.
