NEW YEAR'S TERROR: 10 DEAD, 35+ INJURED AFTER DRIVER PLOWS A VEHICLE INTO A CROWD IN NEW ORLEANS

Police in the US city of New Orleans say a driver who plowed into New Year's Eve revellers, killing at least ten, was "hellbent on creating carnage".

More than 35 others were injured during the incident, in which the suspect also fired shots at police.
