Israel's ambassador to the United Nations insists that laws to
prohibit UNRWA from operating in Israel will come into effect in 48
hours.
Danny Danon told a UN Security Council meeting on Friday that his
country's plans to go ahead with its decision despite opposition from
the world body and other member states.
The UN says these laws are a fragrant violation of international law
and should be rescinded.
