The United States is providing another significant package of weapons and equipment to Ukraine, to the tune of $2.5 billion.
US President Joe Biden says he wants to help the war-torn nation "prevail in its fight against Russian aggression," having sent more than $60 billion in security assistance since Russia's invasion almost three years ago.
But front of mind in the White House is President-elect Donald Trump's vow to end the conflict by striking a deal when he takes office next month.
