UN Special envoy to Syria calls for urgent political transition

The United Nations Special envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen has arrived
in Damascus to meet with leaders from the Islamist group Hayat Tahrir
al-Sham.
Pedersen has called for an urgent and orderly political transition as
well as urgent political talks in Geneva.
