SOUTH KOREA'S PRESIDENT FACING IMPEACHMENT CALLS

There are growing calls for South Korea's president to be impeached after he declared martial law.

Yoon Suk Yeol lifted the order - which was voted down by MPs - less than two hours after he made it.

He had said it was needed to protect the country from "North Korea's communist forces" and to "eliminate anti-state elements".

Warwick Morris is a former British ambassador in Seoul - he says events have been hard to believe.
