The details have been revealed of a proposed law to legalise assisted dying in England and Wales.
If it goes ahead, it would only apply to terminally ill adults with a life expectancy of six months or less.
People would also need the backing of two doctors and a High Court judge.
The controversial legislation will face a vote in the House of Commons later this month, and many MPs strongly oppose it.
