Security across the capital Islamabad is on high alert as the protesters from the former Prime Minister Imran Khan's party march towards the capital demanding his release.
Authorities have enforced a security lockdown for the last two days with hundreds of paramilitary troops deployed to guard the city.
Imran Khan has been in jail since last year over multiple corruption charges which his party alleges are politically motivated.
