Italy to bring in tough new rules for roads, including mandatory helmets for electric scooter users

Italy is set to introduce tough new rules for the country's roads, including mandatory helmets for people using electric scooters in cities.

The driving force behind the reforms is Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, who's previously described Italy's roads as "a jungle."
