Imran Khan's supporters clash with police as march to free him reaches Islamabad

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan's supporters have clashed with soldiers and police teams at the outskirts of Islamabad.

Police say one officer has been killed and more than 100 have been injured.

The Army has also been deployed as Pakistan's government tries to stop tens of thousands of supporters of Khan from trying to march into the capital.

They are demanding the former cricketer - who has been in jail for over a year now on corruption charges - be released immediately.
