Imran Khan's party calls off protest after police crackdown

Khan's party and supporters were campaigning to secure his release- the former Prime Minister has been in jail since August last year on corruption charges he claims are false.

Imran Khan's supporters claim soldiers opened fire on unarmed protesters - with the police saying 450 demonstrators have been arrested for defying a ban on protests.
