US retailers are hoping to lure shoppers to Black Friday sales in a bid to boost consumer spending.
Discounts have started days, or even weeks, before Black Friday itself, a major shopping day in America's consumer calendar.
Analysts predict the US could see subdued sales over the holiday season if shoppers continue to tighten their wallets.
