A record number of people turned up on the first day of early voting for the U.S. Presidential election in the state of Georgia; 300 thousand voters had cast their ballot by the end of Tuesday - nearly double the number from the last election in 2020.
It's a critical swing state that went to the Democrats and President Joe Biden last time, despite complaints of miscounting by former President Donald Trump which were disproven.
