Hurricane relief workers in the US state of North Carolina were evacuated following threats from 'armed militia'.
The US Federal Emergency Management Agency, known as FEMA, advised all federal responders in Rutherford County to stand down and evacuate', according to the Washington Post.
US authorities are trying to stem a flow of false claims circulating about the government's response to recent storms - including some made by former president Donald Trump.
