Pakistan hosts SCO trade summit

Intro:

Islamabad is hosting trade ministers from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization bloc, as this year's chair.

While ministers from all SCO member states will attend the meeting in person, Pakistan's rival India will see its minister joining the session online.

Ties between both nations were curtailed in 2019 following New Delhi's decision to revoke Kashmir's autonomy.

Kashmir is claimed by both nations in full, but New Delhi and Islamabad govern only parts of the contested region.
