New York Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted by federal prosecutors -
who say he sought and accepted illegal campaign contributions,
charging him with bribery and fraud.
The unsealed indictment alleges that foreign nationals who had
influence over Adams provided favorable treatment and gifts, before
pursuing him for benefits they felt he owed.
