Indian prime minister Narendra Modi has said that the Quad group of nations - made up of the US, Australia, Japan, and India - is "not against anyone", as leaders from the bloc met over the weekend amid their concerns about China's rising influence in the Indo-Pacific region.
Modi is on a three-day visit to the United States.
