Kamala Harris has defended her record and hit out at former President Donald Trump in her first sit-down interview since announcing her bid for the White House more than five weeks ago.
The US Vice-President had copped criticism from rivals for avoiding an in-depth on-the-record conversation with media after President Joe Biden ended his re-election campaign and endorsed her as the nominee.
In the exclusive interview with CNN, which aired on Thursday night, Harris was pressed on her policy positions on the economy, immigration and energy.
