The US has joined key allies in the Middle East to urge Israel and Hamas to restart ceasefire negotiations.
The joint statement comes as tensions in the region remain high - with both Iran and the Lebanon-based Hezbollah group vowing an attack on Israel is coming in response to Israeli strikes targeting key leaders of Iran's proxies.
