Top court dismisses effort to overturn Jimmy Lai conviction

The top court in Hong Kong has dismissed efforts to overturn the
conviction of Jimmy Lai and six other pro-democracy campaigners.

The individuals had previously been found guilty of organizing and
taking part in pro-democracy demonstrations back in 2019.
