Judges for England's lowest courts have been advised to hold off sentencing some convicts to prison until early September, due to prison overcrowding.
One of the country's most senior judges, Lord Justice Green, advised the measures were necessary -- ahead of an expected surge of arrests over the upcoming public holiday.
