White House denies reports Biden will drop out

The White House says President Joe Biden has no plans to pull out of
the presidential race despite growing concern in his party that he's
not fit to serve another four years.

His lackluster performance in last week's debate has created a wave of
panic in the Democratic Party - and calls for him to step aside - so
someone else can take on Republican Donald Trump in November's
election.

Biden says he is committed to remain "to the end".

And on Wednesday White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said
that reports Biden is weighing his options, and looking to drop out,
are false.
