INTRO:
A two-week ceasefire aimed at enabling humanitarian organizations to access displaced people in the east of the Democratic Republic is holding so far. Local authorities in North Kivu province say Congolese government forces and the M23 rebels have not engaged in any fighting since the US-brokered truce came into effect last Friday. Thousands of people have been displaced by the clashes since the start of this year. Chris Ocamringa has more from Kinshasa.
