KING CHARLES OPENS NEW SESSION OF UK PARLIAMENT

Britain's King Charles the Third has opened a new session of Parliament after the Labour Party won a landslide election earlier in the month.

In a summary of what the new Government intends to do in power, called 'The King's Speech', he said his government would "get Britain building" through planning reform.
