Italy's Giorgia Meloni meets Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing

Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni says China can work with the west to "guarantee stability, peace [and] free trade."

Meloni met Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on Monday, bidding to shore up trade relations after pulling her country out of the Belt & Road Initiative or BRI last year.
