In rare condemnation of its strategic partner, the US has criticised declining religious freedoms in India.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said there's been a 'concerning' surge in hate speech and attacks on minorities in India, while unveiling an annual religious freedom report.
New Delhi has not commented yet, but has in the past called these reports 'propaganda'.
