NATO leaders mark D-Day in France, as Biden calls for defence of democracy

US President Joe Biden commemorated D-Day in Normandy on Thursday with veterans of World War II, reminding people of the importance of defending democracy, and relating those events in history to current-day support for NATO, and the war against Russia in Ukraine.
