World number one golfer Scottie Scheffler has been released by police after he was arrested for driving through a cordon and charged with assaulting an officer.
The American was held by cops on Friday morning while trying to drive into the entrance of a golf course, where just hours later he teed off at the Professional Golfers' Association Championship in the US state of Kentucky.
