International humanitarian aid has begun moving ashore into Gaza after arriving via a floating pier in the sea built by the US military.
The operation sees ships carry aid from the Mediterranean island of Cyprus to a dock, then transferred on boats to a port and onto lorries for distribution.
It was supposed to be functioning earlier this month, but construction was hampered with logistical, weather and security challenges.
