Many parts of India are grappling with scorching heat, with heatwave warnings in the southern state of Kerala forcing authorities to close schools.
Temperatures in the state are 35 degrees celsius or 95 degrees Fahrenheit – but the weather department says it feels like 46 degrees celsius (115) due to high humidity.
