The United States military has started building a large floating pier off the coast of Gaza in an attempt to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian assistance for Palestinians in the war-torn strip.
The plan — first announced by President Joe Biden last month — will see ships carry aid from the Mediterranean island of Cyprus to a floating dock in the sea, and then transferred on boats and then lorries for distribution.
It'll be operational by early May.
