Donald Trump's first criminal trial is underway in NewYork, with the
former US President saying the case should never have been brought
against him.
The trial has begun with jury selection which could last multiple days
as lawyers try to find 12 impartial jurors.
The case revolves around hush money payments he allegedly paid to a
porn star ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
Trump spoke after he arrived at court.
