Tighter fiscal rules passed by European Parliament


The European Parliament has rubber stamped new rules which will force E.U. governments to tighten their belts.

The bloc's fiscal rules have been suspended for the last four years, as member states have had to massively increase spending to respond to the coronavirus pandemic and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
