Long-delayed post-Brexit checks on food and plant imports to the UK have come into force.
Ministers insist the physical checks are necessary to prevent the spread of food and plant-borne diseases and will only have a 'negligible' impact on prices.
But business groups are warning they'll add billions of pounds to food bills.
