Japan remains positioned to act on spiraling yen

Japan’s government says it is closely watching currency movements and is prepared to intervene if the yen becomes any weaker. 


Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki said on Friday he is concerned about the yen’s recent fall to lows not seen since 1990.
