S Korea grants nurses extra powers as doctor walkout continues

Nurses in South Korea have been authorized to take on emergency roles as a large scale doctor walkout continues. 

About 9000 trainee doctors have resigned since mid-February over pay, conditions, and a government plan to increase medical school positions.
