Israel blocks UN aid truck containing medical scissors

Israel has accused the United Nations of lying, claiming it had not
turned away an aid truck carrying scissors that were included in
medical kits for children.
On Tuesday, the head of UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini slammed the
laborious Israeli inspection process, which he says, continues to slow
down crucial humanitarian and medical assistance.
