Former Labour MP George Galloway has won the Rochdale by-election to return to Britain's Parliament.
The controversial politician finished nearly six-thousand votes ahead of his nearest rival after a campaign dominated by the war in Gaza.
Labour removed support from its candidate Azhar Ali because of comments he made about Israel.
The by-election was sparked by the death of the previous MP, Labour's Tony Lloyd.
George Galloway says his victory sends a message to Labour leader Keir Starmer.
