Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the dismissal of the country's top general Valery Zaluzhny on Thursday, in one of the nation's biggest leadership shake-ups since Russia's full-scale invasion. Zaluzhny has been hailed a hero for preventing Russian forces from taking Kyiv, and for the liberation of dozens of territories in 2022. But after a failed counteroffensive last year, Zelensky says Ukraine is in "urgent need" of change.
