Aid agencies in the Democratic Republic of Congo have expressed concern about the escalating conflict in the country's east that has forced more than 135,000 people to flee their homes. Humanitarian organisations say the displaced people are living in unimaginable conditions without food, water and toilet facilities posing serious consequences for their health and safety.
