Tear gas shells fired at farmers as march enters second day

Thousands of farmers who're attempting to march to New Delhi have been halted at a border crossing 200 kilometers away from the Indian capital.

Security teams are using tear gas shells to stop their march, a move that's been criticised by the opposition.

Farmers have accused the Indian government of not fulfilling its promise to increase income support for farm produce, two years after a similar yearlong protest ended.
